Man City confirm six summer signings with over £150m spent on transfers

Manchester City are bracing for a hectic finish to the summer transfer window with deadline day just around the corner

It has already been quite the eventful summer at the club

City’s summer transfer activity looks set for a dramatic conclusion. After confirming the £116m signing of Elliot Anderson during the World Cup, the club is pursuing more significant signings before Tuesday, September 1.

Crucial midfielder Rodri has quit the Blues for Barcelona. The World Cup winner finalised his move on Tuesday and City will now seek a replacement. Negotiations for Lille’s Ayyoub Bouaddi are progressing, though he is not viewed as the direct successor to Rodri.
